Technology: the union between past and present

Hello everyone:
Today I'm going to speak about my favourite piece of technology: the external disc drive.
I chose it because I have lived a very sad situation. Two years ago, in March, someone entered to my house and stole almost all the electronic things (and other things) that were in there: cameras, TV, tablets, cellphones, and notebooks. The last object was the worst, because it had all the information related with my family, the school, the history of my indigenous community, my pets, my music and other things that were very important to me. That was terrible, I had lost everything! For this reason, the next month (in April), I decided to buy an external disc drive to support all the information that I wanted to save. My external disk drive is something like this picture:

Since that moment, I make a support once a week to update the new things that I've download.
Now that I'm in the University, I need to keep all the information related with my career: papers, new investigation in my favourite area, all the subject's plan, the books that I had to read for each subject, the power points of the class, my investigations and group works, etc. And all the things aside the university that I want to save: all the discography's band that I like, photographies, a lot of videos, movies, and of course, audiobooks and many books in PDF that I've read and that someday I hope to read.
I think I could live without it, but in case of a new steal, I couldn't recover all the information that I've held in this object, it have a sentimental value to me.  I hope you never have to live that situation :C

In the Internet Addiction Test (IAT) I got 26 points, therefore, my severity impairment index is NONE.

In the Gap-filling activity: the MP3 player, my score was 100%   :3

Act 4:
In the web: How Stuff Works, I choose the article: The Bones of Bioarchaeology.
1) I choose this article because I like the theme, is a very interesting topic, it combines Archaeology and Physical Anthropology.
2) Really, no, I thought I would find more information in the article related to recent discoveries.
3) I think is very interesting this information: ''corpses that wind up in very dry or very cold or airless locations may last for centuries with relatively little decay''. It explains the good condition of many mummies and graves.

Memories

Hello blogger:
This time I'm not going to write about anthropology, music or books, this is about a picture that remind me very good memories. Watching the picture that my english's teachers show in class, I remember one of my favourite photography.

 This picture was taken by my head teacher, Patricia, when I was thirteen years old in 2010, I don't remember if it was in November or December. I like the photography because it shows all the class members. Yes! We were only five members! 
In order of appearance from right to left, Guillermo, me (María), Suelen, Laura and David. We were a very united group. That was the last day we were together in the school, and we had to take the photography to the school yearbook. So we decided go to a typical place in my town, called 'El Mirador', were you can look at the estuary, and the Treke Island.
I like this place because the climate and the nature is comfortable. If you look behind the group, you will see a lot of trees, the sea, and the Queule river. It is an amazing place, were you live calm and safe.
Seeing this photo gives me great nostalgia, now we are so far away, and studing different careers.
But we don't know the fortunes of destiny.

Hi everyone:
It's the first time that I use a blog, and I don't know what to do.
Well... I'll tell you some little things about me. My name is María, I'm 19, and I'm studying Anthropology at 'Universidad de Chile', it is my second year, and I hope specialize in Physical Anthropology (I want to play with bones jajaja) . I like the music, specially classical and metal. I read a lot, and now that I'm in the university, even more, but I love the black novels, police and gothic themes.
